My Color Is Beautiful Art 2015…

Mood Book-sneak1Oh yeah!!! I am going to be teaching a class as part of the “My Color Is Beautiful Art” online workshop in February 2015.  During the workshop, 8 artists will share a mixed-media technique and/or project.  It is going to be AMAZING!  There is a blog hop going on right this minute (if you are reading this then you are a part of it).  Each day this week, we are featuring the incredible instructors that are lined up for the workshop.

In my class, we will explore color theory and its effect on our artistic expression.  Learners will create a journal from start to finish using downloadable patterns and supplies from their own stash.  By the end of the class, participants will have a primed and ready journal that can be filled with thoughts, ideas and works of art that tell their own color story.  This pic is just a tiny sneak peek.

Registration begins on November 11, 2014.  But you can beat the crowds and enter to win a free all-access pass to the workshop!  I am giving away a slot to one lucky person.  (Tip: Be sure to check the other artists’ blogs – many of the them are also doing a giveaway.)

Next stop on this blog hop is Trina Willis (http://trinamadethis.blogspot.com).  Be sure to stop there tomorrow, browse her site and let her know that I sent you!

Looking forward to broadening my artsy circle of women of color. You can never know too much! I am more than sure that someone will teach me something I had no clue about, give me a different perspective over something, and more that’s even yet to know I needed.. lol
