So, I discovered this art initiative where artists from around the world are creating works of art and leaving them in a public location for some lucky person to find. The whole event takes place today on Black Friday. This year I decided to participate. I created a die-cut paper pieced framed art work.
Now, I have to be honest. After the piece was completed I sort of fell in love with it, and so I am bit anxious about leaving it just anywhere. So, what I think I will do is go to a public location (let’s say the mall) and find someone who looks like they may enjoy the piece and offer it to them. I KNOW that this is cheating just a bit. But, the idea of my artwork sitting in a corner shivering alone and naked. Well, I just can’t stomach that. So, I figured why not create a happy medium.
If you will be in the Poconos in Pennsylvania today, maybe you will be the lucky person.

UPDATE: The artwork is dropped and ready for pick up in front of the Michael’s in Stroudsburg, PA. I hope it finds a home.
UPDATE 1/25/2015: I was recently contacted by “Cynthia” she found the artwork and is giving it a wonderful home! Woohoo!!! Thanks again Cynthia, people have been asking me about it.
