Valentine’s Mini Album from Paper Scraps

AydayCreatives-VdayMini-9How do I love thee paper scraps, let me count the ways.   I have a ton of paper scraps, I just can’t bring myself to throw them away.  So, I am always thinking of ways to use them.  My favorites are projects where I can use them in bulk all at once.

Recently, I decided to make a Valentine’s mini-album using only paper scraps.  I did not use any “full size” sheets of paper at all.  In order to create a project that was aesthetically pleasing, I decided to focus on papers that fell into two color categories – reds and pinks.  Despite the fact that many of the papers came from different manufactures and product lines, the project came together nicely (if I do say so myself).

This mini-book gave me a chance to play with paper and match up patterns that I would not have typically placed together.  It was fun and I will definitely be repeating this technique on future projects.

Aysha, you know I love mini albums and this one turned out Fabulous. Great usage of scrap paper, I never would have thought of mixing all my pink and reds to create a project.

Where did you get the adhesive from? I love this size and the coverage you get on your projects.

Hi from your SOC Creative Team sistah! I can’t seem to pa r t with my scraps either! Your album turned so well; love the glittery embellies. You really have a way with mixing and matching!

Hi Kimberly! It seems many of us have that same issue. But then there are those that can punch a little corner out of a 12×12 and pitch the rest of the sheet. *GASP!*
