How do I love thee paper scraps, let me count the ways. I have a ton of paper scraps, I just can’t bring myself to throw them away. So, I am always thinking of ways to use them. My favorites are projects where I can use them in bulk all at once.
Recently, I decided to make a Valentine’s mini-album using only paper scraps. I did not use any “full size” sheets of paper at all. In order to create a project that was aesthetically pleasing, I decided to focus on papers that fell into two color categories – reds and pinks. Despite the fact that many of the papers came from different manufactures and product lines, the project came together nicely (if I do say so myself).
This mini-book gave me a chance to play with paper and match up patterns that I would not have typically placed together. It was fun and I will definitely be repeating this technique on future projects.
Now for my list of supplies…please keep in mind that I used scraps so I will not be able to remember where some of the papers came from, also some of these supplies may be discontinued or unavailable.
